To those of us who don’t follow Britain’s royal family, this may look like just another Land Rover print ad, but it is allegedly causing quite a stir because it’s the first time a “royal in direct line to the throne” has been featured in an ad. (In case you can’t tell, that’s mud on the hemline of the dress, not some designer shade of brown.) The royal in question is Zara Phillips, 25-year-old granddaughter of the queen, a talented show jumper, who is also sponsored by the automaker.
