Riney’s hands-on approach to its Web site

Ad agencies get plenty of grief over barely usable Web sites that are nearly impossible to navigate and favor style over substance. Call it an unhealthy fondness for Flashturbation. But could we be witnessing the renaissance of the agency site? First, Poke New York used its online home to have live webcam chats with the public. More recently, Coudal Partners has blended its agency information with an interesting take on a content site. Not to be outdone, Publicis & Hal Riney has gone all Minority Report with its site, inviting users to navigate via hand motions with the use of a webcam. Here’s the kicker: It actually works. Pretty cool.
