Publicis in Romania delivers a twist that's well worth the wait in this ad for Renault. On a deserted highway, a guy picks up a hitchhiker, who takes an unusually acute interest in the new Fluence model. The desolate setting, the make-out muzak droning from the radio, and the way the hitcher lustily admires the Fluence's appointments all signal that something is going to happen. Boy-on-boy lip wrestling? A dismembered finger in some French fries? Let's just say, after the hitcher gets back to his (now not-so-appealing) automobile with a full can of gas, the scenario turns explosive. I'm not saying he douses the vehicle with petrol and sets it ablaze. That would spoil the surprise.
