This "Polar Bear" spot by TBWA\Chiat\Day for the all-electric Nissan Leaf is emblematic of the automaker's efforts to shake up its brand. It's more lighthearted than previous ads, features a voiceover by Robert Downey Jr., and focuses on the human impact of the company's innovations. Or, in this case, the ursine impact. Good thing that bear wasn't hungry, or that hug wouldn't have ended quite as happily.
