New agency Brew does Iraq holiday spot

If you’re a little tired of the usual agency holiday fare (videos showing Santa getting humiliated, etc.), check out this Iraq-themed spot, which is the first work produced by Brew, the new agency of former Fallon ecd Bruce Bildsten. The shop says it just wants people to reflect a little bit this holiday season. Of course, it also wants to generate headlines, which is surely part of the reason for the “controversial” theme. But it’s nicely shot (filmed in a gravel pit in Minneapolis this month) and politically ambiguous enough that both sides of the fence might get something out of it.
