When you’ve spent the better part of three days behind a red-hot MacBook in a sweltering city apartment, a YouTube video titled How Hot is the MacBook? tends to grab your attention. A computer that throws off this kind of heat (up to 119 degrees, according to the infrared thermometer) might be a selling point in January, but not so much in June. I’m not sure if this YouTube video comes down on the side of citizen journalism or consumer-created advertising (he’s happy with the heat), so I’ll let you be the judge.
