It looks like Lugz has taken the first concrete step in its fracas with Apple over similarities between a spot it released in 2002 and Apple’s new Eminem commercial. The New York-based footwear maker tells us it has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Apple and its ad agency, TBWA\Chiat\Day. While one step away from actual legal action, this does raise the stakes.
