Last week, we posted the new Walkers crisps commercial with Lionel Richie singing "Share You, Share Me," a reworked version of "Say You, Say Me." Now, Richie reveals just how hilarious he was on the set, and how much everyone loved him. "We were shooting the ad, and they kept shouting, 'Cut, Lionel, stop eating the product! You are eating the commercial!' I was so in the commercial, I was in the product. I ate the ad," he says. Having whipped everyone into a frenzy with his comedic talents, Richie couldn't stop. "The more serious I was acting, the more everyone was laughing," he says. "I kept saying, 'This is the first time I've been deadly serious about singing a song,' and everyone would be snickering away. It's like a Saturday Night Live skit." The singer claims he would like a "lemon and honey" flavored Walkers chip named after him, but he isn't choosy. "Salt and vinegar was what I was eating yesterday forever," he says. "Salt and vinegar isn't a combination that an American would think of, but I couldn't get my mouth off it."
