It's kind of quaint that these new ads for a traveling exhibition about King Tut don't blatantly poke fun at its stars. That would take the fun out of it for me. It seems ad agency Carmichael Lynch, along with Tool of North America and Saf Productions, gathered a bunch of hoarders, toy collectors, Renaissance Faire geeks, and other social-fringe dwellers for spots that ask, "What would you bring to the afterlife?" That's a reference to the 3,000 treasures that the Egyptian pharaoh had stuffed into his tomb.
