Animation remains the easiest way to feature both an octo-shark and a skyscraper rocket in a single advertisement. So clearly, it was the only way to go with this eye-candy-riffic recruiting spot from Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai, with direction and animation by Shotopop. They're trying to entice potential employees to take a creativity test online and apply to W+K, and I must say, it's enticing. Who doesn't want to make their hipster creative director cry with joy over the brilliance of an idea? Or, you know, wear rocket boots and a giant set of remote-controlled hands? If the Shanghai office truly is a magic place of miniature dinosaurs and anthropomorphic coffee mugs, I would be willing to wear a cat skull and shake my ass at the copier for a chance to get in.
