Here's a slick twist on the age-old movie preview: an interactive Iron Man 2 trailer that features photo galleries, behind-the-scenes clips and more. The core video is the same one you've probably already seen a few times, but as it progresses, you're given access to bonus content such as character profiles. Considering how trailers are more often focused on form than function, this is a nice way of giving you a little more backstory. Avatar also had an interactive trailer, but it required a software download and had an interface that was clunky by comparison. To be sure, the Iron Man 2 widget also has room for improvement, but that's just one more reason I expect we'll be seeing more and more of these interactive trailers as blockbuster season draws near.
