If you missed it on the NFL’s Opening Kickoff 2005 last night, here’s a link to the surreal, extremely cool new Desperate Housewives promo. It’s so good, it’s almost HBO-like. The setting is a dreamlike, slightly menacing, suburban Garden of Eden—there’s more forbidden fruit here than in Leo Burnett’s lobby. “Juicy,” the sultry women of the show sing, one after the next, while plucking rosy apples from trees, bathing in them and cutting them open to watch blood ooze out—as clocks run backwards on the wall and wispy clouds fly by overhead.
