Google is having some April Fools’ Day fun, linking off its homepage to a supposed new product called Google Gulp. We’re used to these guys introducing a funky new product every other day, and frankly, we wouldn’t be that surprised if they got into the food and beverage market, but still, there’s something fishy about “a line of ‘smart drinks’ designed to maximize your surfing efficiency by making you more intelligent, and less thirsty.” Some of the pseudo-marketing-speak is great: “With flavors ranging from Beta Carroty to Glutamate Grape, you’ll never run out of ways to quench your thirst for knowledge.”
