Thinkmodo kept with its "Do a weird thing in New York" approach to viral marketing by remote-piloting three person-shaped RC planes around the city for the upcoming movie Chronicle. Since Chronicle is about three teenage boys who can fly (and yet somehow isn't a raucous sex comedy), it does make a certain amount of sense—more than Thinkmodo's iPad Head Girl thing did, at any rate. Thinkmodo did some nice work here, but I gotta say, I'm surprised Ray Kelly let them get away with this, given his recent threats about shooting stuff out of the sky.
