Just as the iPad was starting to seem less sexy and more hum-drum practical, Dentsu London has used the device to create a hypnotic new form of stop-motion animation. Partnering with design consultancy BERG, the Dentsu team created a video called "Making Future Magic," which is the agency's current communications strategy. I'd hate to butcher the explanation of the 3-D animation, so just watch the video below to see both how it's done and what the finished product looked like.
