A deadpan spoof of a typical political ad might be the only thing getting votes in Washington these days.

The ad below for Mount Vernon, George Washington's plantation home outside of Washington, D.C., boosts tourism by portraying the nation's first president as the ideal political leader—something America hasn't seen since, well, George Washington.
