These simple yet powerful ads by Canadian agency John St. for HelpChildSoldiers.com hit the target dead center. The print posters, via Ads of the World, appearing in Toronto and elsewhere, show munitions of war replacing toys, as crayons morph into bullets and hand grenades dangle from a nursery mobile. Most emblematic of all is this wind-up kid-soldier, symbolizing the deadly playthings children become when forcibly conscripted. Below is a TV spot that suggests that doing nothing about the problem is a major part of the problem.
