I’m shocked it took this long for someone to invent a beer catapult. And it sounds like this one actually works; my expectations weren’t high, as the people who try to build such things tend to be the same people who thought Beerfest was funny. According to the inventor, his contraption is “a fully automated, remote controlled, catapulting, man-pit approved, beer launching mini-fridge.” Impressive, eh? And to think it all started with him asking, “What if instead of me going to get the beer, the beer came to me?” I had this pegged as a Homer Simpson-esque musing, but maybe the guy was actually inspired by this
