Bode Miller
says he doesn’t care about endorsements. Well, it’s time for him to put his money where his mouth is—it’ll be a little less money than before, that’s all. It seems the Most Disappointing U.S. Olympian has just failed to have his endorsement deal with Barilla pasta renewed. It’s unclear if this is simply business as usual or a reflection of Bode’s unspectacular recent performance. The deal, which ends in July, ran for three years, and a Barilla official is going to great pains to point out that a former Barilla endorser, Italy’s Alberto Tomba, also had only a three-year deal with the company.
