Babies Pose With Their Food Look-Alikes in Cute Campaign for Gerber

Everyone needs a little TLC

There's a mix of food porn and adorable babies in the new Gerber national TV and print campaign. Think Anne Geddes, without the over-the-top schmaltz.

The work, from indie agency Terri & Sandy, New York, juxtaposes fresh fruits and veggies with their look-alike infant counterparts—blueberries and bright eyes, baby faux-hawk with a pineapple top, peaches with peach fuzz. The sweet-but-not-too-sweet visuals tout the iconic brand's message about TLC for both babies and their food.

Ads are running through the summer in syndicated shows and on cable networks like Bravo, Lifetime, USA and TNT, with the print ads in People, Parents and Us Weekly, among others. There's also a short digital film with a Seussian voiceover detailing the cold puree and flash cooked production process, in keeping with the currently still-hot farm-to-table trend—or in this case, farm-to-highchair.
