Australian army seeking ‘Simpsons’ fans

The U.S. Army said recently that it was targeting paintball players as potential recruits. Down in Australia, they’re taking a slightly different path, with a new army campaign that “will target fans of The Simpsons and South Park, as well as Internet chatrooms, as part of a drive to recruit young people.” It might be good, while this campaign is airing, to temporarily shelve the Simpsons episode where the U.S. military tries to recruit Bart’s class of 10-year-olds, and also maybe to discourage airings of the South Park movie, in which the U.S.
