AT&T’s “Taco Party” ad from BBDO graces us with some dorky office humor to tout the company’s speedy mobile broadband network. Just think of all the forced small talk and standing around in front of someone’s cubicle you’ll miss out on if you don’t get that e-mail fast enough! Really, though, couldn’t they have picked a more appealing activity for our slowpoke protagonist to miss out on? A supermodel hot-tub party or something? Maybe they saw this AdweekMedia/Harris poll about sex in ads and took it too far in the other direction.
