The news that serial bow-tie wearer Tucker Carlson is leaving CNN and that Crossfire is going the way of Connie Chung’s ill-fated CNN prime-time slot caught my eye this morning. But when I stopped to read the stories about it in detail, I actually got whiplash. Why? Because Jonathan Klein, the newly appointed head of CNN, actually admits to several media outlets that Jon Stewart’s on-air criticism of the show during the presidential race had something to do with his decision.
