Carol Wells began her career at American Express and Citibank and then as a magazine art director. Next, she joined Dorling Kindersley as senior designer and then consulted on titles including Architecture. Since joining Adweek in 2005, Carol has received two Folio Ozzie Awards for design. She is a classically trained painter.
