Zinio Puts Kauffman in Charge

Zinio Systems, a digital magazine production, distribution and circulation company in San Francisco, has appointed Scott Kauffman president and chief executive officer. In this role, Kauffman will be responsible for the strategic development and management of more than 120 globally distributed digital publications, including BusinessWeek, Seventeen, PC Magazine and U.S. News & World Report. Prior to joining Zinio, Kauffman served as president and CEO at online digital music service MusicNow; he has also held senior positions at CompuServe and Time Warner. Kauffman succeeds two-year CEO Mike Edelhart.
