LOS ANGELES The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals said it has awarded two anti-smoking contracts to Riester-Robb and its subcontractor, Zehnder Communications.

The contracts are for the state’s Smoking Cessation Campaign and the Environmental Tobacco Smoke Campaign, which are new initiatives for Louisiana.

Billings for both accounts combined are less than $1 million. The contracts run through June 30, 2004.

Riester-Robb in Denver, which also handles anti-smoking work for the state of Colorado, is the lead agency on the account.
