Y&R Units Come Together in Irvine

A year after lead client Lincoln Mercury set up shop at its new headquarters in Irvine, Calif., Young & Rubicam has moved all six units of its expanding Orange County contingent into one office in a commercial development known as the Irvine Spectrum.
A year ago, Y&R employed 35 people in Irvine. Today, there are 230 under one roof, most of them working on the Lincoln Mercury and Lincoln Mercury Dealer Association accounts, which account for 70 percent of the office’s revenue.
