NEW YORK Massimo Costa will succeed William Eccleshare as chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam’s European, Middle Eastern and African operations, the WPP Group shop said on Friday.
Costa, 45, had been chairman of Y&R’s operations in Italy.
Three days ago, Omnicom Group’s BBDO said it had hired Y&R’s Eccleshare as chairman and CEO of its European, Middle Eastern and African operations.
Eccleshare, 49, has agreed to join BBDO’s London office in that role, but a start date has not been determined, an agency representative said.
