Young & Rubicam has filled its chief creative officer slot in Chicago with Bob Winter, one of several executive creative directors at Leo Burnett.

Winter, 44, succeeds Ken Erke, who is leaving to become an ecd at Interpublic Group’s R/GA in Chicago. Erke had held the post since May 2008, when Mark Figliulo exited to become chairman and chief creative officer at Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York.

Y&R’s top client in Chicago is Sears, which last year spent $410 million in major measured media, according to Nielsen.
