Y&R Adds Vongher as Group Account Director

SAN FRANCISCO Technology and business-to-business marketing executive EJ Vongher has joined WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam here in the new position of vice president, group account director, the agency said.

Vongher, 42, will lead Y&R San Francisco’s Polycom account and handle new business, an agency representative said. He reports to Penny Baldwin, North American managing partner.

Vongher has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing. He comes to Y&R after managing an integrated communications consultancy for enterprise technology companies, including NetApp and Quest Software.
