Yahoo to Sponsor One Show Interactive

NEW YORK — Yahoo has signed on as the sole sponsor of the One Club for Art & Copy’s One Show Interactive, an awards competition that recognizes innovative interactive advertising.

As a part of the sponsorship agreement, Yahoo will build and host an online gallery to display all the winners from the One Show Interactive.

In addition, the Santa Clara, Calif.-based Web portal will sponsor the Innovative Marketing category in the One Show, the club’s traditional advertising competition. The new category will honor original marketing programs across multiple forms of media, including the Internet, or ones that are nontraditional in their use of traditional media. BMW’s digital film series, which garnered the top prize at the 2002 One Show and One Show Interactive, is an example of such a campaign.

Both the One Show and the One Show Interactive will be held the week of May 7, 2003. The call for entries, produced by Lowe in New York, will be distributed this month. Entry details for all competitions will also be available on the One Club’s Web site ( http://www.oneclub.com/ ).
