NEW YORK Wyndham Hotel Group is poised to select WPP Group’s Berlin Cameron United to handle creative duties on Wyndham’s Super 8, Howard Johnson and Travelodge brands after a review, sources said.

Berlin Cameron is among three shops believed to be finalists for the business. When reached this afternoon, an agency representative said, “The client has not made a decision.” Wynham, which is based in Parsippany, N.J., could not immediately be reached.

Major media spending on the brands totaled nearly $25 million in the first 11 months of 2007 and about $30 million in 2006, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
