The president of Wunderman’s New York office is leaving after two years.
David Shulman is heading to another unidentified agency to assume a global leadership role, according to Wunderman. To fill the void, Wunderman has promoted Chris Loll to managing director.
“Chris can step right into this role not only because of his proven track record of solving problems for several of Wunderman’s largest enterprise clients, but [also] because of his deep appreciation of the creative process,” said Daniel Morel, the agency’s global CEO.
Previously, Loll was an svp for innovation and growth who worked on accounts like Nokia, Diageo and Coca-Cola. In January, he also assumed an account management role for Best Buy after the retailer added the agency to its creative roster. He has worked at Wunderman since 2002.
As managing director, Loll, 38, joins a management team that includes chief creative officer Nick Moore. Beyond Best Buy, Coke, Diageo and Nokia, office accounts include Citi and Levi’s. About 250 staffers work in New York.
The management move comes as Citi reviews a portion of its direct marketing business at Wunderman. The agency is said to be defending.
