NEW YORK WE: Women’s Entertainment, which had recently handled media in-house, has awarded its planning and buying responsibilities to Media Storm, the client said. The budget is estimated in the $5-million range.

South Norwalk, Conn.-based Media Storm will create national, regional and local multi-media campaigns for the network to help increase brand awareness. WE, currently available in 54 million U.S. households, offers programming directed primarily at female audiences.
