Williams to Brand Gordian

Officials at Williams Whittle Associates last week confirmed they had acquired the advertising and marketing business of Gordian Health Solutions.
Annual billings, according to executives at the Alexandria, Va.-headquartered agency, are estimated at $1 million.
“We’re very fortunate to have Gordian entrust their branding needs to our team,” said agency managing partner Ralph Thompson in a statement. “Gordian has a fresh perspective on health-cost containment that we believe will be of great value to corporate America and other healthcare organizations.”
The agency is already working on the first campaign for its new client. That advertising is scheduled to launch next month.
Gordian, headquartered in a suburb of Nashville, Tenn., recently made a series of acquisitions to bolster its resources and to extend its market reach.
The three organizations joining the Gordian family are Continental Health Promotions of Richmond, Va.; Eris Survey Systems in Indianapolis; and Ethix Risk Management of Portland, Ore.
Williams Whittle’s initial advertising campaign will consolidate all three of those organizations under the Gordian Health Solutions brand banner.
“Williams Whittle impressed us from the very beginning,” said Yonnie Chesley, president of Gordian Health Solutions. “Their healthcare experience and edgy, out-of-the-box thinking was a perfect match for Gordian.”
The cornerstone of the client’s management service is to develop comprehensive programs to maintain and improve the health of large employee population bases. These solutions are aimed at improving the wellness of company workers while decreasing the cost of healthcare to the employer.
