NEW YORK Wieden + Kennedy in New York has added a second tier of creative leadership with the hiring earlier this month of two associate creative directors and the promotion of a copywriter to acd, all new positions, the agency said.

Paul Renner, an art director, and copywriters Charles Hall and Kevin Proudfoot, who was promoted, report to co-creative directors Todd Waterbury and Ty Montague.

Proudfoot, 30, has worked on the independent agency’s estimated $40 million ESPN account for five years and was a major contributor to the development of that client’s “Without sports” campaign that broke earlier this year.
