Wieden + Kennedy’s Tokyo office will oversee global advertising efforts—with creative input from other Wieden offices—for Sharp Corp.’s Aquos line of flat-screen TV sets, sources said last week. A client rep said Sharp “has no relationship with Wieden + Kennedy at this time.” Sharp spent about $15 million in U.S. media on its Aquos line last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
