Wieden + Kennedy has appointed Lee Newman managing director of its Amsterdam, the Netherlands, office. Newman joins executive creative directors John Norman and Jeff Kling on the management team of that agency location. Newman was previously at Omnicom Group’s GSD&M Idea City in Austin, Texas, as svp and group account director on BMW. Before that, he worked at McKinney in Durham, N.C., on Audi.
