Call it a reminder, as if any were needed, that the market for jobs in advertising, media and marketing remains shaky. As you can see from the chart, the volume of help-wanted classifieds in Adweek last month was much lower than the year-earlier total. Only an uptick in the West saved November from coast-to-coast ignominy. While the month wasn’t bad enough to erase the modest gains that had accumulated in the year-to-date data, it didn’t miss by much.
