WB Division Launches Review

Warner Bros. Consumer Products Division has launched an agency review, according to sources. A representative at the Burbank, Calif.-based client confirmed the review, but declined to elaborate.
Agency of record Meade Ullman Advertising in Sherman Oaks, Calif., will participate in the review, according to an agency representative.
Last week, agencies including Cohen/Johnson and Dailey & Associates, both of Los Angeles, plus Sagon-Phior Group in Sherman Oaks, Calif., received packages containing samples of the client’s collateral and TV ads, according to sources. According to a letter accompanying the materials, the account includes marketing for products related to Looney Tunes, Baby Looney Tunes, Cartoon Network and DC Comics. It also covers advertising for two future animated theatrical releases, new and retail business development and publishing, according to sources.
Mary Yedlin, vice president of marketing for DC Comics and
theatrical properties, Warner Bros. Consumer Products Division, is conducting the review. She did not return calls by press time.
The client wants an agency with print, online, promotional and direct mail capabilities, sources said.
