WatchSoft Eyes 5 Texas Finalists For Disk Tracy

Five Texas agencies will meet with WatchSoft of Houston in the next two weeks as the client winds down a $2 million-plus review for its Disk Tracy Internet content control software.
A Galveston, Texas-based consultant running the review said the company would not disclose the finalists, which hail from Houston, Austin and Dallas. A decision is expected in two weeks, said Jim O’Donnell, owner of Seabrook consultancy.
WatchSoft launched the review in mid-May, with 39 shops submitting credentials. No speculative creative assignments were given.
The winning agency will be asked to promote Disk Tracy for both consumer and business applications. The software tracks Internet usage and searches hard drives for objectionable files and content. –Glen Fes
