The Washington State Lottery has issued a request for proposals for its $7 million ad account. Responses are due Feb. 23.
The Olympia, Wash.-based lottery board issued the RFP because its contract with McCann-Erickson in Seattle ends in May. The agency has handled the account since 1993.
“Like other contracts, we have to make sure we are using the best resources,” said Lorraine Lee, a lottery contracts representative. The selected agency will be asked to handle both creative and media duties for TV, radio, print and outdoor advertising, she added.
McCann-Erickson will defend the account.
