WarrenCordes Adds Tech Clients


Gains $6 Mil. in Billings From 4 Accounts
DALLAS–WarrenCordes+McCul-lar has gained $6 million in new billings with the addition of four high-tech clients.
The 11-person shop in Austin, Texas, won all four advertising accounts in separate reviews within the last two months.
WarrenCordes+McCullar now counts Luminex, a maker of biological testing equipment; RateGenius, an Internet auction site for consumer loans; Matrix.Net, a Net traffic analyst; and Works.com, an online seller of office equipment and supplies, as clients.
Except for Works.com, all represent first-time advertising efforts for Austin-based companies that are either startups or attempting to relaunch their business operations in the marketplace.
“We’re becoming more technology focused,” said agency spokesperson Eric Clark. “The market here almost dictates an e-business slant. This truly rounds out our portfolio of tech clients.”
WarrenCordes+McCullar will provide services ranging from logo design to direct mail and Web site development.
Before the wins, the two-year-old agency had a strong concentration of tech accounts including
Cirrus Logic, Steag Electronic Systems and AeroV.
“We’ve made a dedicated effort to focus on specific industries where we see growth opportunities both for Austin and our company,” said Charlotte Warren, chief executive officer of the agency. “We’ve been in Austin for a long time, we know the economy and a lot about the technology industry.” K
