Wallrapp Joins M&C Saatchi

NEW YORK M&C Saatchi has tapped Jenifer Wallrapp as group account director. She will lead the agency’s two largest clients here: British Airways and the Financial Times, the agency said.

The position is new and Wallrapp will report to Robert Fletcher, executive chairman and CEO of the New York office, which has 32 staffers.

“She’s got a great agency pedigree and great experience working with talented creative people,” Fletcher said.

Wallrapp joined from the San Francisco office of Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, where she was vice president and director of business development.

Among the accounts she helped land in that office over three years were Red Roof Inns and Tilia. Prior to Hill, Holliday, Wallrapp ran the Pets.com account at Omnicom Group’s TBWA\Chiat\Day in San Francisco.

The daughter of an Air Force colonel, Wallrapp, 34, was born in Panama and has lived in Texas, Germany and Illinois. She began her career in 1991 as an account executive at the independent Richards Group in Dallas.

She has also worked at Omnicom’s GSD&M and IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding in San Francisco.
