virtual Branding

Providing frequently offbeat offline promotions for online clients is the forte of Eisnor Interactive, which recently launched an office in Boston helmed by Michael Wilder, a 30-year veteran of the local agency scene.

“As a company, our business model is to help dot-coms create viable brands on the Internet,” said Wilder, best known for a mid-1990s stint as a vice president and strategic planner at Arnold Communications in Boston.

The latest effort from the 8-person local office of the New York-based firm is a print campaign for strategic consultancy Mainspring, Cambridge, Mass.

For Mainspring, the company employed actors in New York and Boston airports wearing suits and carrying briefcases emblazoned with the question “Who’s behind you?” and the company’s name and logo. More traditional Mainspring advertising from Eisnor includes ads in The Wall Street Journal and direct mailers.
