Location-based marketing services company Vicinity on Monday launched Wireless Business Finder. The service helps users locate stores, products or services featuring specific brands via PDAs, cellular phones and pagers.
Vicinity sells Wireless Business Finder to brand manufacturers, who then provide the service to customers. The product is an addition to Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Vicinity’s existing Business Finder group of services. A spokeswoman for Vicinity declined to give information about the cost of the service.
