Vetter Assumes Presidency of Merge

ATLANTA Merge Agency has promoted Moira Vetter to president, the shop said in a statement.

Michael Taylor, the independent Atlanta shop’s CEO and creative director, and Vetter could not be reached for comment. Vetter previously was vice president of account strategy. No previous president is listed in published information about the agency.

Vetter will focus on “raising the visibility of the firm, attracting new clients and supporting existing clients,” according to the statement. She also “will be working to achieve her personal goal of growing Merge Agency into a $10 million firm” and will recruit new account executives.

“I am committed to extending Merge’s culture to a larger stage with new and existing clients,” Vetter said about her promotion.

“I am very excited to lead Merge with Moira in the next chapter of our growth,” Taylor said in the statement. “Moira has provided our clients with a unique combination of account strategy and hands-on common sense marketing that has created many long-term relationships between Merge and its partners and clients.”

Vetter has worked in marketing on the agency and client sides for the past 17 years and previously owned her own marketing company, according to the statement.
