United Goes with Fallon

United Airlines will consolidate its $100 million global account with Fallon Worldwide after a shootout with Young & Rubicam in New York, sources said.

The business had been split between the two agencies, with Fallon handling domestic advertising out of its Minneapolis office and Y&R handling international work.

The Elk Grove Village carrier, however, decided late last year to consolidate its business at one agency to cut costs.
