Mike Parsons, the managing director of twofifteenmccann, has left the agency to become chief operations officer at The Factory, an incubator start-up in San Francisco.

A search is underway to find a replacement for him at the McCann Worldgroup shop, sources said.

Parsons joined twofifteenmccann three years ago. He previously was managing director of Tribal DDB in London (from January 2008 until March 2010) and managing partner at Tribal DDB in Amsterdam (January 2006 to December 2007).

Parsons' exit follows other top management departures at twofifteenmccann.
