Trion Bolsters Planning, Account Service

BOSTON Seeking additional ammunition as it competes against larger shops for clients both inside and outside New England, Trion Communica-
tions has hired Jessica Willing-Pichs as director of brand planning at the independently owned agency.

She will work across all clients at the shop in Providence, R.I., helping to set long-term marketing strategies. She spent eight years at New York-based agencies such as Cliff Freeman and Partners, Merkley Newman Harty and Wells Rich Greene.

Agency CEO David Preston praised her “fluency in qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.”

Trion has also hired Sue Tremblay as an account executive. Most recently, she worked at Freedom Communications in Irving, Calif., as director of sales training and market development for the company’s newspaper offerings.

Agency clients include Blount Seafood, Jiten Hotel Management, Opticom, SwimEx and TowerStream.
